A 4-day immersion in theatre, dance, song, yoga, and ceremony, to rewild your senses, awaken your creative fire, and claim your primal power

LIBERTAD, ALAJUELA, COSTA RICA
19th-24TH APRIL 2026

Oh Sisters

Let’s Go Down

Let’s go down to the river to dance and sing,
heal and grow…

… as we gather 12 women together on the pristine Machuca River.

Phoenix on Fire

In the time when the world is going through a meta crisis, we believe taking care of ourselves, building health, vitality, confidence and resiliency is the best kind of activism one can engage in.

We are a Collective of mothers, caregivers, healers, artists, businesswomen and community builders. We are passionate about the Feminine Rising and supporting our sisters and each other on this Journey.

The process you are going through - the transition - childbirth, change of jobs, end of a relationship, change of place you live in - is an opportunity to dive deep into the essence of your own being, dive into the Underworld, burn what is no longer serving, leave the old parts behind, and come out of this journey as a new version of YOU.

Raise as Phoenix. Let the ashes become the much-needed nourishment for the soil from which your new being is sprouting. Let the fire you go through be an element that ignites the alchemical process of your Being.

The pillars, your practice of presence and conscious awareness, and the support you share between sisters and guides, will catalyze for you the emergence of paths of transformation.

Our Setting

Our sisters retreat will be nestled in the beautiful Machuca River Valley, bordering the pristine, mystical Machuca River in a rich tropical jungle ecosystem alive with giant trees, monkeys and birds.

The Machuca River flows energetically through giant boulders, widening into slow, cool pools. Trails wander through the jungle, passing massive tree trunks, and fungi, mosses, ferns and many flowering plants.

Every aspect of the river is imbued with healing and transformative energy, strong spiritual feeling and significant meaning with which we will connect and learn during our time in retreat.

We will share the valley with four nearby eco communities, Tacotal, Alegria, La Ecovilla and La Ecovilla San Mateo.

Sleeping in the Jungle

Commune and share with your sisters in a riverfront sanctuary and glamping campground situated on the Machuca River, just seconds walk to the river where you may bathe, absorb the wisdom of the rocks and the trees.

In many shamanic societies, if you came to a shaman or medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask you one of four questions: When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing? When did you stop being enchanted by stories? When did you stop finding comfort in the sweet territory of silence?
